So, someone copied this comic strip and placed it in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department office. I think this more or less perfectly describes what it is like being a disaffected college student.
Somewhere in the back of my mind I tell myself that this is an investment and I’m not just prolonging growing up.

It has been said that a little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing. I think this demonstrates that a lot of knowledge is out of control. It is to bad that a student gets caught up in this abuse, and like all abuse, passes it along. I think there ought to be a directory that these Professors have their names listed in, and they be required to go to therapy as all abusers are required to do. Although we should have compassion for these perpetrators, we do need to protect ourselves from them.
