The good news: I finally got officially hired on at NPS. The background check cleared. Only a month late too. I guess I have a really shady background or made someone mad in the mail room. Either way I’m excited to have something to do and can’t complain about getting to spend all that time out on the lake “working”.

In all my spare time I’ve set up a new program to manage the weblog. I’m not a big fan of the color scheme, but it seems to work well enough.
