Leg 22 – Coalville

So, tonight I stayed with Emily and Dan in Coalville and their house is directly on the race course. All night long people were running by. The dogs were going nuts. The fortunate thing is that this part of the course was one of Audrey’s legs, so we got to see her run by and cheer her on. She was keeping up a good pace and passing all the guys as usual.

This leg was a tough one, a full 7.7 miles of rolling hills. She made it to the exchange point about sunrise strong, happy, and tired. Only one more to go…the ragnar.

Happy to be done...for now

  1. AUDREY IS AMAZING… I just thought I’d share that tidbit of information with everyone… πŸ™‚ LOVE YOU GUYS!

  2. Did I ever tell you about the time that I asked Nathaniel to do the Top of Utah Marathon with me? Nathaniel asked me for WEEKS if I had paid the entry fee yet… till I told him that I had done something even better- signed up to volunteer serving ice cream at the event. He was so mad. I still need to run a marathon! Good work.

By the way- deep down Nathaniel is grateful to me that I got him to run one. πŸ˜€

  3. During good news minute in Relief Society, this girl said how she did the wasatch back and ran Ragnar…she said “It was the hardest thing, every had to walk it!” I really wanted to bust in, “Actually, not EVERYONE cupcake. My sis-in-law cruised up the hill b/c she is a badass.” But I have been trying to be nicer during church, so I didn’t.
