Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes

Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes

Head – I like setting goals. Generally they are very sensible and help me accomplish tasks or grow personally, but sometimes they’re just frivolous. Like this one: Try wearing hats.

Check. Don’t I feel accomplished.

Shoulders – Cooper doesn’t like it when we do things without him. If we try to sit him in the car seat, Bumbo chair, high chair, or whatever while we do things around the house he yells at us (not cries, yells). I know he thinks he’s saying, “Hey! What about me?!” Thus, he gets carried around the house in the backpack a lot (which he loves). I thought I would get away from the tight, achy shoulders I always had as a student, but I guess not.

Knees – Cooper likes to think he can crawl. When I lay him on his tummy he just kicks and kicks as if it’s going to get him somewhere. Sometimes he even gets his knees under his body and his butt up in the air he’s so determined. The other day I put him on a new surface and he got rug burn on his knees, poor kid. As soon as his arms get strong enough I know we’ll be in trouble.

Toes – Cooper loves his, I need to paint mine, and Noel’s have finally recovered and look normal from his last marathon.

  1. For one, I think you pull of hats very well. I wonder why kids are so fascinated by their toes. Is Cooper going to be a car for Halloween?
