6 Months

6 Months

Half a year seems pretty monumental.* Whenever I look at pictures of Cooper when he was first born I am still sort of amazed at how much bigger and more interactive he is now. I think Noel gets tired of me pointing to a picture in our living room and exclaiming, “Look at how tiny he was!” Here are a couple of pics for the viewing pleasure of those that are interested 🙂

Cooper loves it when Dad comes home from work to play with him, and honestly so do I.
He's loving food and gets it all over himself because he can't keep his fingers out of his mouth for 2 seconds. So far he's tried grapes, bananas, yams, broccoli, potato, cauliflower, zucchini, avocado, applesauce, and even some chili. Yum.
He likes standing and we're waiting to see if he skips crawling altogether, luckily we have a couple of months. Hopefully . . .
Cooper loves being outdoors. Luckily the weather has been fairly nice and there's a park just down the street.
Can't get enough of the swing. I kind of want to get one to hang from the tree in our backyard.
Coop's new stroller for when he can't fit into his infant carrier (the day is fast approaching). We also have a bigger carseat that's waiting anxiously in his closet.
*Noel was kind to mention that right now I am 50 times older than Cooper.

  1. I wish kids came with a remote, so I could pause, occasionally fast-forward, and definitely rewind whenever I wanted. I guess digital cameras will have to suffice! I love all the pics -Cooper is so handsome.

  2. I love to hear about and see you all, it helps the “missing-these-precious-times-months.” I used to bath Noel in the kitchen sink while he ate. Fun, fun times.

  3. They are much more fun at this age! And they change so fast. I’m still amazed at how much even my 3 year old changes from month to month. Tayven doesn’t stand yet, but loves to scoot backwards and in circles. He’s become our human vacuum cleaner–he kind find any thing in the carpet, even hair. And just out of curiosity, how big is Cooper? Mine’s a little shrimp–he was in the 5oth %ile at 4 months and now is barely in the 10th!

    1. Cooper has his doctor’s appointment next week, so right now I’m not sure of his stats. I’ll try to remember to let you know later.
