To commemorate Cooper’s first year we gave him special treatment from the moment he woke up (Wait, how is that different from usual?) and threw a true fiesta (minus the pi
ata since he can’t wield a bat yet) that night. ñ
Because he’s such a big boy he even decided to use a spoon.
Can you tell he liked the cake?
Instead of a cutesy cake, we had tres leches cake drizzled with dulce de leche.
Our fiesta food: Enchiladas verdes, cilantro lime rice, refried beans, chips & salsa, and horchata.
Cooper also played in the gravel.
We went to the park and enjoyed the swings.
Cooper helped me with his favorite thing: laundry.
For lunch we had finger foods: steamed carrot sticks, pear slices, and breadsticks.
The balloons were a big hit.
Playing with some of his new toys.
Cooper checking out his loot.
Gifts kept arriving in the mail the week before Cooper’s birthday. Can you tell he’s spoiled?
