These two pictures show up in my google photos one right after the other. The right is the last picture I took in Costa Rica and the left is the first picture I took in Colorado.
Getting back to regular life was honestly kind of a struggle. I’d hoped all the sunshine and relaxing would help buoy me up through the rest of February, but instead I felt like I’d lost all tolerance for winter and got hit extra hard by Seasonal Affective Disorder. Winter was also being a bit of a doozy causing late start and early closures as well as school and church cancellations. It was cold and snowy and we were all trapped inside together with nothing to do but get on each other’s nerves and work on our basement. Morale was not great. But, we kept on and mustered through even with that extra day in February. Here are some picture highlights:
