Come Workout With Me!

Come Workout With Me!

I’m doing some Zoom workouts this next month while my work is closed. I’m even doing one for the whole family that I’m really excited about! Check out my work’s calendar for days, times, and links to the Zoom meetings. I’d love to see familiar faces there!

1st Half of March 2020

1st Half of March 2020

This March seems like one of those months that has a big divide. There was the first part where life was more or less normal and then there is the 2nd half (the half in which we’re currently living) where everything has been cancelled. It only seems fitting that I write about these two parts separately. (Also, I have a lot less going on now than usual, ha, ha.)

At Home Workout

At Home Workout

My work has been shut down by a state executive order closing all gyms until at least April 16th. I actually think it was a good call – the Golden Community Center, like most gyms, is a bustling place with lots of older clientele, kids running around to various classes, and lots of equipment sharing. Costa Rica Trip 2020

I have been wanting to go to Costa Rica for years. I can’t pinpoint exactly what attracted me to the country. I do remember learning about Costa Rica in high school Spanish and thinking it was cool that they didn’t have an army. As an adult looking at traveling internationally for the first time, it helped that it’s a relatively safe and very peaceful country. Being gorgeous and warm didn’t hurt either.

January 2020

The most exciting thing we did in January was go on a trip to Costa Rica, but that will get its own post. Here’s what we did the rest of the month.

December 2019

December 2019

We had a bug with our websites that made it so we couldn’t log into the blog, which made updating very difficult. It’s all fixed now and I’m on a mission to get up to date, if only for my personal satisfaction. Let’s visit that long ago month of December.

The first weekend of November, we went to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. They had two exhibits we though the kids would really like: Extreme Sports and the Science of Pixar
