I’m Not a Slow-Stroller-Momma

I’m Not a Slow-Stroller-Momma

There’s a couple of things you should know about me. 1. I’m a fast walker. I’ve been known to leave Noel in the dust and his legs are seriously longer than mine. 2. I generally prefer walking to driving. 3. I believe traffic rules/laws make the world a safer place for both pedestrians and drivers. I don’t run red lights on foot or in my car.

None of those things have changed since Cooper’s arrival, but I’ve noticed how people try to get the “curb advantage” as we wait for the appearance of the walking man at street corners. Now, I’m not saying I blame these people for their reactions. I’ve been stuck behind oblivious moms that are cooing at their babies as they chart a swervy path down the sidewalk. Just know, that I’m not like that. If you decide to try and get ahead of me by hopping into the street before the light has turned green, I hope you don’t feel too embarrassed when I pass you before you’ve made it to the curb on the other side.
