I don’t have anything clever to say today. I do have some pictures of Cooper though (to appease the family). It was a hard enough struggle to come up with the captions. Maybe tomorrow I’ll feel more verbose.

I just finished a cozy blanket for Cooper. I decided it was finally time to do something with all the old jeans and khakis I’d been keeping.
I think he likes it.
The County Library just had their booksale. I was more discerning than some of the other mom’s, but was excited by my finds. Cooper loves books already. I feel very passionate about parents reading to their children; I can’t imagine why. Here is Cooper with his entire library (about half came from the sale).
I’ve discovered a way to put Cooper in the high chair while we make dinner without him screaming. The slinky, what a wonderful invention.
Cooper is working on sitting up. He can sit on beds and couches for a pretty good amount of time, but only for a few seconds on the ground.

  1. A slinky is the only thing that gets us through the sacrament. We’ve nicknamed it the spit-flinger. I’m sure the people in front of us love it too 🙂

  3. Wow, I love that blanket. I have a whole box of jeans just waiting… Anika really doesn’t let me do anything. Maybe I should get a slinky. I am impressed by your library; you have some good books there. He’ll be crawling in no time.
